Our Lectionary series Bouquet Caboodle kicked off the Lenten season with a reflection of the temptation of Jesus in the desert. We propose temptation in all of its various forms is a shortcut, and shortcuts leads to disaster. We find in Jesus a way and a strength to resist temptation.
